The process

It’s time to shine a light on the businesses, organisations and individuals that make the Scottish Borders a brilliant place to live, work and do business.

Stage One. Nominate
Think a business, organisation or individual deserves recognition? Put them forward for one of our Industry Awards or Area Awards.

And remember — you can nominate yourself, or you can be nominated by someone else. Whether you’re putting your own business forward or recognising a business, organisation or individual that you believe deserves to be celebrated, every nomination counts.

Stage Two. The Top 10
Once nominations close, the 10 most nominated businesses, organisations or individuals in each category will progress to the next stage. These will become the official contenders for their category.

Stage Three. The Public Vote
Now it’s over to the people of the Scottish Borders. The Top 10 in each category will go to a public vote, giving customers, clients, colleagues, friends and the wider community the chance to show their support and help decide who takes the title.

Stage Four. The Winners
The nominee receiving the most public votes in each category will be announced the winner at the Scottish Borders Business Awards.

Industry & Area Awards

The Scottish Borders is home to an incredibly diverse business community, and our awards are designed to celebrate it.

Industry Awards recognise businesses, organisations and individuals excelling within their particular sector or industry, while Area Awards celebrate those making a real difference within towns and communities across the Scottish Borders.
